HYGG - Dining table with bench - Solid walnut wood

HYGG is a dining set with a simple, Scandinavian form, made from high-quality solid wood. The design is restrained, yet warm in feel. We created it to naturally become a place for meeting, eating, and everyday conversation.

We make the table and bench from solid American walnut, selected for stability and a consistent, attractive grain. The surface is finished with a natural blend of oils and waxes. It protects the wood in daily use while highlighting its deep color and giving it a subtle satin sheen.

The rectangular tabletop has elongated proportions, rounded corners, and softly shaped edges. A subtle milling detail guides the line of the top toward the slim legs, so the whole piece looks light despite the solid material. The legs are set close to the corners, providing more legroom and making it easier to sit down, even when more people are seated. Under the tabletop we use hidden metal reinforcements that increase rigidity and ensure long-term stability, without changing the minimalist look.

The set is available in five standard sizes, always with a bench proportioned to the table length. HYGG in walnut works beautifully in a dining room or kitchen, and also looks right at home in an elegant office space where material quality and function matter.

Each set is made in our workshop with great attention to detail. We select the boards, keep the grain consistent, machine the components precisely, and hand-finish the surfaces. The result is a unique piece that handles intensive everyday use and gains even more depth over time.
