HEIM 140 - Computer desk with drawers - Solid oak
Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is a computer desk with drawers in solid oak, 140 cm (55 in) across in the standard size.
- Cable compartments beneath three access flaps.
- Three drawers in the standard layout.
- Natural oak, matte white or matte black drawer fronts.
- Solid oak top that can be sanded and refinished.
This computer desk with drawers has built-in routes for your cables. Three flaps lift to give you access to the cable compartments, with cut-out grips that also let leads pass through when the flaps are closed. Openings between the compartments and exits at the left, right and center of the bottom rail let you guide cables toward their connections.
Three drawers with birch plywood bodies and solid oak slides give you separate places for everyday supplies. If you like to keep some things in view, you can request two drawers and an open niche instead. Soft-close fittings are an option for a gentler closing action.
Solid oak forms the body, fronts and legs. The natural matte hard wax oil finish can be refreshed at home without special tools. If the tabletop is damaged, sanding and refinishing offer a way to keep the desk in use.
For contrast with the natural oak, you can choose matte white or black drawer fronts, finished in water-based lacquer. You can also request a different wood species, finish or gloss level to suit the furniture and other surfaces in your room.
The standard version is 140 cm (55 in) across, 60 cm (24 in) deep and 75 cm (30 in) high. As each desk is made to order, you can request custom dimensions to work with the space you have.
The legs arrive detached and numbered, so you can see where each one belongs. With the included assembly kit, fitting them should take up to 10 minutes.
