HEIM 140 - White desk - Solid oak
Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is a white desk in solid oak with 3 drawers as standard.
- Standard depth of 50 cm (20 in).
- Standard height of 75 cm (30 in).
- Cut-out grips in the drawer fronts.
- Soft-close drawers on request.
Natural oak fronts and legs sit below a matte white top on this desk in solid oak. The body is white too, finished with water-based lacquer to match the working surface. That contrast lets the exposed timber stand out as part of the room.
The natural fronts and legs have a matte hard wax oil finish that can be refreshed at home without special tools. You can also choose white fronts to carry the body's color across the face, or black fronts for a stronger contrast.
At 50 cm (20 in) deep, the desk keeps your workspace narrow while offering a 140 cm (55 in) span for everyday work. The working surface sits 75 cm (30 in) above the floor, giving you the height to plan the desk and chair together.
Three drawers give everyday supplies their own places below the top. Your fingers find a cut-out grip in each solid oak front, so handles do not project into the room. Birch plywood drawer boxes run on traditional solid oak slides, with soft-close operation possible on request.
For setup at home, each leg is numbered to show where it belongs. The legs come detached, with an assembly kit for fitting them, so you can put the desk together in up to 10 minutes.
Each desk is handmade to order in our workshop in Poland, where we can adapt the layout to include two drawers and an open niche. Custom dimensions or a different gloss level are possible too, giving you a say in both the fit and the finish.
Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 7-10 weeks to complete. Selected models are also available off the shelf - check the Ready to Ship section for current stock. We pack the finished piece in secure, reinforced packaging and ship it free of charge to the United States with trusted carriers like FedEx, UPS, and DHL Express - every shipment is fully insured. Mo Woodwork furniture regularly arrives in American homes, which is why the whole delivery process runs smoothly. The price shown is final; we cover customs duty and import formalities. Opinions
What an absolutely extraordinary desk! The quality is amazing, and the condition was perfect—no scratches or imperfections anywhere to be seen. The wax finish on the painted wood is great, and the solid oak was definitely the way to go. Assembly was quick and easy, and seeing it in person exceeded the expectations I had for the desk, which were already high to begin with. You can tell they pay high attention to details, from the excellent packaging to the desk itself. On top of all that, Mo’s customer service and response times are unmatched. A worthwhile purchase!
This desk exceeded my expectations. It is really well made and the quality of the craftsmanship is exceptional. It's reassuring to purchase something knowing it is going to be used and enjoyed for many years and will never need to be replaced.
We love our beautiful desk and it fits perfectly in our home. Mo Woodwork was super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The desk arrived on time and was well packed and easy to assemble. Highly recommend!
Jederzeit wieder!
I love my custom desk! MoWoodworksStore is an incredible company that makes really really beautiful furniture. This is my second custom desk from them, and I always get compliments. Their customer service is top notch and they make quality pieces and package it really well. I had an awkward sized space in my closet where I wanted to build a vanity. MoWorks was able to build a desk to my exact measurements, color, and drawers. I can't wait to have it for years to come. Thanks so much!
