Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is an office desk with drawers in solid American walnut, with a standard width of 140 cm (55 in).
- Three drawers as standard, with an optional two-drawer layout and open niche.
- Cable routing through compartments behind three flaps.
- Optional matte lacquered fronts in white or black.
- Solid walnut top that can be sanded and refinished.
HEIM 140 is an office desk with drawers for keeping everyday supplies close and giving them a home when work is done. Three drawers come as standard; two plus an open niche can be requested if you prefer to leave some things in view. Soft-close drawers can be specified too.
You can keep the drawer fronts in natural walnut or have them lacquered in matte white or matte black to suit the room. Those fronts are solid American walnut, as are the body and legs. Grips are cut into the fronts themselves, so there are no handles to interrupt the wood or color.
Cables can pass from one compartment to the next behind the three access flaps, helping you keep leads off the working surface. Even with the flaps closed, their cut-out grips leave a route for cables; openings in the bottom rail let you take leads out to the left, right or center.
The standard dimensions are 140 cm (55 in) across, 60 cm (24 in) deep and 75 cm (30 in) high. Custom dimensions are possible if the desk needs to fit a particular space, with each piece made to order.
You can refresh the natural matte hard wax oil surface at home without special tools. If the solid walnut top is ever damaged, it can be sanded and refinished, giving you a way to repair the wood as well as renew its finish.
For setup at home, the legs are supplied detached and numbered, together with an assembly kit. Fitting them should take up to 10 minutes.
Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 7-10 weeks to complete. We pack the finished piece in secure, reinforced packaging and ship it free of charge to the United States with trusted carriers like FedEx, UPS, and DHL Express - every shipment is fully insured.
