Product description

Key facts

  • HEIM 140 is an office desk in solid oak with 3 drawers as standard.
  • Narrow standard depth of 50 cm (20 in).
  • Tabletop can be sanded and refinished.
  • Matte hard wax oil on the body.
  • Custom dimensions on request.

You can sand and refinish the solid oak top of this office desk if it is ever damaged. Its body is also made from solid oak.

The 50 cm (20 in) depth makes it easier to fit a work area into a room already in use. Across the top, 140 cm (55 in) of width gives you space to arrange what you are working on. It sits at a height of 75 cm (30 in).

Three drawers give you separate places for the supplies you use during the day, so you can clear the surface between tasks. The fronts are solid oak, with cut-out grips that let you pull directly on the wood. Birch plywood boxes run on traditional solid oak slides; soft-close drawers can be requested for a gentler closing action.

Matte hard wax oil covers the body, fronts and solid oak legs, keeping the finish close to the natural, unstained appearance of the wood. When it needs refreshing, you can do that at home with no special tools.

For a sharper contrast with the oak, you can choose white or black lacquer for the fronts. An open niche alongside two drawers is another option when you want to reach things without opening a drawer. We can also adjust the dimensions on request to suit the space you have.

We make the desk to order. For setup, the legs arrive detached and numbered, with a kit for attaching them. You should need no more than 10 minutes to assemble it.

Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 7-10 weeks to complete. Selected models are also available off the shelf - check the Ready to Ship section for current stock. We pack the finished piece in secure, reinforced packaging and ship it free of charge to New Zealand with trusted carriers like DHL Express, FedEx, and NZ Post - every shipment is fully insured. Mo Woodwork furniture regularly arrives in New Zealand homes, which is why the whole delivery process runs smoothly. The price shown is final; we cover GST, customs duty, and import formalities. We offer full personalization - from precise fitting of dimensions and proportions to your space, to your choice of wood stain that fits perfectly into your interior.
