Solid American walnut runs through the body, top, fronts and legs of this walnut desk. We leave the wood unstained, allowing the natural walnut color to show.

The matte hard wax oil finish is something you can refresh at home without specialist tools. For damage that reaches the tabletop itself, sanding and refinishing are possible too, giving you a repair option for the solid wood beneath the finish.

White or black lacquer can be chosen for the fronts if you want a contrast with the walnut. A different gloss level or finish is also possible on request, giving you a say in how much sheen you see across the piece.

With 140 cm (55 in) from side to side and a depth of 50 cm (20 in), the desk offers space for work on a footprint that stays narrow. The working surface sits 75 cm (30 in) above the floor. If your room needs something different, custom dimensions are possible, so the piece can be made around the space you have.

The three drawers have birch plywood boxes running on traditional solid oak slides. You open them using grips cut into the fronts, keeping handles part of the wood. If you prefer some things in sight, you can request two drawers and an open niche. Soft-close drawers are another option.

We build each desk to order and send it with the legs numbered for their positions. The supplied assembly kit is for fitting those detached legs; setup should take up to 10 minutes.

Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 7-10 weeks to complete. Selected models are also available off the shelf - check the Ready to Ship section for current stock. We pack the finished piece in secure, reinforced packaging and ship it free of charge to the United Kingdom with trusted carriers like DHL, DPD, and Schenker - every shipment is fully insured. Mo Woodwork furniture regularly arrives in British homes, which is why the whole delivery process runs smoothly. The price shown is final; we cover VAT, customs duty, and import formalities. We offer full personalization - from precise fitting of dimensions and proportions to your space, to your choice of wood stain that fits perfectly into your interior.

Hard wax oil is a natural blend of oils and waxes that is safe for people, animals, and plants. It creates a pleasant-to-the-touch, breathable surface that is resistant to dirt and damage.

Assembly

All our furniture is shipped with disassembled and properly numbered legs. We also include an assembly kit with each package. The assembly is extremely simple and intuitive; it should take up to 10 minutes.

Delivery

The standard order fulfillment time is 7-10 weeks. If this product is in stock, it will be shipped within 1-3 business days.
