HEIM 140 - Computer desk with hutch - Solid walnut
Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is a computer desk with hutch and 6 drawers in the standard version.
- Solid American walnut body and legs.
- Oiled surfaces can be refreshed at home without special tools.
- Natural wooden fronts or a matte white or black finish.
- Custom dimensions on request.
This computer desk with hutch gives your monitor its own place above the work surface. Openings in the back panel let you lead the cables through behind it, helping to keep the space in front of you free for work.
A choice of fronts lets you decide how the piece sits with the rest of your room. Natural walnut keeps the wood visible, while matte white or black fronts have a water-based lacquer finish. Because the desk is made to order, you can also request a different wood, finish or gloss level.
You can divide work items between six birch plywood drawers in the standard layout, with three in the desk and another three in the hutch. For things you prefer to leave on view, a different arrangement can include two drawers and an open niche. Soft-close action is another option on request.
The body, legs and natural wooden fronts are solid American walnut, finished with matte hard wax oil. The wood is left unstained, so its color comes from the walnut itself. You can renew the oiled surface at home without special tools, and a damaged tabletop can be sanded and refinished.
When planning the space above the desk, allow for its total height of 91 cm (36 in), including the hutch. The standard desktop is 140 cm (55 in) across and 70 cm (28 in) deep; custom dimensions are possible if you need a different fit.
The desk arrives with its legs removed and numbered, so you can match each one to its position. Using the included assembly kit, fitting them should take up to 10 minutes.
Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 7-10 weeks to complete.
