The walnut version of YRKE is a solid wood dining set focused on the natural grain and dark tones of the raw material. The design uses a simple, geometric form that fits minimalist and modern classic interiors. Instead of traditional chairs, the set features a backless bench, which keeps the tabletop fully exposed and saves visual space, making it ideal for smaller rooms.
The wood is protected with a high-quality matte finish that secures the surface for daily use while maintaining its natural texture. This set is designed for those who prioritize durable materials and functional form over unnecessary ornamentation.
Replacing chairs with a bench helps keep the space tidy. The seat can be slid fully under the table, so you quickly regain clear passage. It is also practical: the bench comfortably seats more people without needing a larger table.
The set is available with one or two benches. Choose the layout that fits your needs, for everyday meals and for gatherings with more guests.
We make both the table and the bench entirely from solid walnut, which develops deeper color and character over time. The surface is protected with hardwax oil that guards against moisture and stains while keeping the natural, tactile feel of the wood. The finish is easy to refresh, so the furniture will look great even after years.
Each piece is made in our workshop. From selecting the boards to the final finish, we control every step so the table and bench are refined in the details and ready for everyday use for a long time.
