HEIM 140 is a desk with hutch in solid American walnut for a home office built around a monitor. The raised section adds storage above the work surface, with gently rounded edges giving the walnut body a softer shape.
Your monitor stands on the hutch, 16 cm (6 in) above the desktop. Cable openings in the back panel give its connections a route out of the raised section. The work surface below is solid American walnut and can be sanded and refinished if damaged.
Storage sits both above and below the desktop: the hutch has three drawers, matched by three more in the desk. Solid walnut fronts cover birch plywood drawer boxes that run on traditional solid oak slides. Beneath the body, outward-splaying solid walnut legs give the desk a mid-century look.
We finish the natural wood in matte hard wax oil, and the walnut itself develops a warmer tone over time. Your desk is made to order, with matte water-based lacquer in white or black as alternatives to natural wood fronts, plus custom dimensions, revised drawer arrangements, soft-close movement and other finishes or gloss levels on request. The detached legs are numbered, and the included assembly kit is used to secure them.
Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 8-12 weeks to complete. Selected models are also available off the shelf - check the Ready to Ship section for current stock. We pack the finished piece in secure, reinforced packaging and ship it free of charge to Japan with trusted carriers like DHL Express, FedEx, and Yamato Transport - every shipment is fully insured. Mo Woodwork furniture regularly arrives in Japanese homes, which is why the whole delivery process runs smoothly. The price shown is final; we cover Japanese consumption tax, customs duty, and import formalities. We offer full personalization - from precise fitting of dimensions and proportions to your space, to your choice of wood stain that fits perfectly into your interior.
