Product description

Key facts

  • HEIM 140 is a writing desk with drawers in solid American walnut, 140 cm (55 in) wide.
  • It measures 140 × 50 × 75 cm (55 × 20 × 30 in).
  • The body that holds the drawers is 12 cm (5 in) high.
  • There is 63 cm (25 in) of free space under the desk for your chair and legs.
  • Solid walnut drawer fronts open by recessed cut-out grips.

HEIM 140 in solid American walnut is a writing desk with drawers for a home office where you want the wood itself to be part of the design.

At 50 cm (20 in) deep, the desk suits a room with limited space for a writing area. Beneath the desktop, the legs angle outward in two planes, giving the desk a mid-century look.

Three drawers keep your work supplies in birch plywood bodies supported by traditional solid oak slides. You open them using cut-out grips in the walnut fronts. If the desktop is ever damaged, its wood surface allows for sanding and refinishing.

We finish the wood with natural matte hard wax oil, and the walnut develops a warmer tone over time. Each desk is made to order, and you can choose natural wood fronts or have them finished in white or black matte water-based lacquer. On request, we can also make the desk to your measurements, use another wood species, include open storage or fit soft-close drawers, as well as change the finish or its gloss level. The desk arrives with its legs detached, numbered and accompanied by an assembly kit.

Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 8-12 weeks to complete. Selected models are also available off the shelf - check the Ready to Ship section for current stock. We pack the finished piece in secure, reinforced packaging and ship it free of charge to Italy with trusted carriers like DHL Freight, DPD, and Schenker - every shipment is fully insured. Mo Woodwork furniture regularly arrives in Italian homes, which is why the whole delivery process runs smoothly. The price shown is final and includes Italian VAT. We offer full personalization - from precise fitting of dimensions and proportions to your space, to your choice of wood stain that fits perfectly into your interior.
