HEIM 140 - Writing desk with cable management - Walnut wood
Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is a writing desk in walnut wood with 3 drawers in the standard layout.
- Body and top in American walnut veneer over a hardwood lumber core.
- Cable passages connect the compartments behind three flaps.
- Two drawers and an open niche offered as an alternative layout.
- Natural wood fronts or matte lacquered fronts in white or black.
A writing desk in walnut wood, HEIM 140 has a natural matte finish that you can refresh at home without special tools. Hard wax oil covers the body, legs and natural wood fronts, leaving the wood unstained so its color comes from the walnut itself.
The walnut you see on the body and top is natural American walnut veneer laid over a hardwood lumber core. We use solid American walnut for the sides and legs, and for the drawer fronts that you open by their cut-out grips. This keeps the front free of separate handles.
Three drawers give pens, notes and other day-to-day supplies a place off the desktop, leaving the surface for what you are working on. You can also request two drawers and an open niche, keeping some things visible while the rest is put away. Soft-close drawers are an option too.
For the equipment you use alongside your writing, cable routes run through compartments behind three flaps. Openings in the flaps' grips let leads pass through even when closed, and internal passages connect the compartments. From there, cables can leave through the left, right or center of the bottom rail, helping you keep them away from your notes.
The standard version stands 75 cm (30 in) high, with a top measuring 140 cm (55 in) across and 60 cm (24 in) deep. Other dimensions, woods and finishes can be requested, so the desk can be made to suit the space and the look you have in mind. White or black fronts finished with matte water-based lacquer offer a plain color if you prefer it to natural walnut.
A kit is supplied for fitting the detached legs, whose numbers show where each one belongs. You should need no more than 10 minutes to put them in place.

Opinions
Lovely piece that will last a lifetime. Absolutely delighted with it
Very happy with the quality of the desk I ordered. Wonderful customer service (Dawid kept me upto date on the order and gave a very accurate time frame for production and delivery. Would strongly recommend.
This desk is amazing. It made a perfect fit on my home office, and it's a featured item which is beautiful and perfectly crafted. It's easy to assemble, however the package is heavy and it's best to be handled by 2 persons if you lack the strength to lift 50+ Kgs. The only downfall I believe, and it was from my end, it was the lack to ask a smooth sliding mechanism to the drawers.
The quality of the desk is excellent and the finish is flawless. Nowadays it is quite hard to find quality furniture, but this is amazing! Everything went smooth with the seller and it got shipped really fast. Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous! Great packaging. Wonderful customer support. Cannot say enough good things.
The Customer Service was incredibly responsive, the item arrived ahead of schedule, and it’s absolutely beautiful! Very happy I made this purchase
Another amazing item from the Mo Team, fantastic materials and incredible workmanship, quality process from start to finish, I just can't overstate just how great this team is!
It’s a really beautiful piece! Looks just like the picture on the store! They made it a bit shorter as I requested and it is still perfectly harmonized. Customer support was spot on. In all, really happy with this store. I recommend!
Everything is absolutely great and beyond. The quality of the desk is unbeatable, as are its elegance, functionality, and sturdiness. The shipping was also right on time, no need to worry at all. And to top it off, customer service was incredible: Dawit always kept me up to date in developments, and answered my questions promptly once I got the desk. I would buy this item, from this seller, a 100 times more... Will definitely recommend them to friends and family. If you are thinking about it, just go for it! You won't regret it one second!
Alles volgens wens geleverd, prima contact
This piece is simply beautiful. It’s exactly what I had hoped it would be. I fully encourage doing business with this seller. Bravo!
I worked with Dawid of Mo Woordwork to build a custom office desk. He was very attentive and thorough in laying out the design and specifications with me. Once the order was initiated he gave me periodic updates and when the build was complete, he gave me tracking information so I could track my package. There was an issue with shipping on the shipping company's part (TNT/FedEx), but that is not a fault of the vendor. Dawid stayed in touch with me throughout the shipping fiasco (again, not his fault, so I won't give a low rating on shipping), and helped me to get my shipment as soon as possible. I absolutely would work again with this vendor.
Superb design styles, quality, and attention to detail. Easy to put together and built to last. The desk is just perfect!
great quality for the price. fast shipping, love it.
It is a great item.
Awesome quality, fast shipping, strongly recommend!
I can't say enough how much I love my desk. Dawid was so helpful throughout the whole process and once we decided on the design production and shipping were quicker than anticipated. 10/10 recommend!
HEIM 140 - Computer desk with cable management - Walnut wood
The quality of the item EXCEEDED the description. Lead time was met. Communication between the factory was clear and timely. Outstanding company to work with. I hope to find more product.
The craftsmanship of the desk is exceptional, and the customer service is & has been impeccable. As it was a sincere pleasure working & communicating with Dawid through all & any hiccups (all TNT/Fedex related, to say): professionalism, tactful, and to-the-point. I would order from Mo again without hesitation principally because of the service, which says a lot based on how satisfied I am with the product itself.
I love it! They were accommodating and helped me design a custom desk (I had messaged other sellers but had no luck until I messaged Mo Woodwork). Quick responses and accurate timing. Desk is exactly as we had designed. Quality and craftsmanship is top notch! This was shipped internationally and it was packaged very well - no damages to the desk. Love the desk and very excited to use it for years to come. The design is timeless, simple and elegant. Highly recommend.
A truly beautiful piece of furniture, and clearly made with real care and attention to detail.
Customer service is excellent - all of my questions were answered swiftly. Assembly (simply attaching the legs) took around 2 minutes.
Warning: once you’ve bought this desk, you’ll be unable to buy IKEA ever again!
I absolutely love the desk. I hope it'll stay with me for many years to come.

A beautiful desk made to the most exacting standards. We had a few ups and downs with delivery (due to the courier) but everything was resolved. I've since ordered two bedside tables which are just as beautiful and with no delivery challenges. I would definitely recommend.
The team was able to customize my desk exactly as I asked and it looks really fantastic. I appreciate their patience with my requests and high quality output!
