HEIM 140 - White desk with drawers - Oak wood
Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is a white desk with drawers in oak wood, with a standard width of 140 cm (55 in).
- Three drawers in the standard layout.
- Matte white lacquer on the body and top.
- Drawer fronts in natural oak, white or black.
- Custom dimensions on request.
A matte white body and top give the HEIM 140 desk a clear contrast with its natural oak fronts and legs. With a standard depth of 50 cm (20 in), its narrow proportions leave more room around your working area.
Three drawers give everyday supplies their own place, keeping the work surface free for what you are doing. Each front has a grip cut into the oak itself, so there are no separate handles to interrupt the face of the desk. Birch plywood forms the drawer bodies, which run on solid oak slides.
Beneath the lacquer, the body is natural oak veneer over a hardwood lumber core, with solid oak sides. The legs and natural fronts are solid oak too; hard wax oil gives them a matte surface you can refresh at home without special tools.
The fronts can also be finished in white to carry the body color across the face, or black for a stronger contrast. You can choose two drawers with an open niche if you want part of the storage within immediate reach. Soft-close fittings can be added if you like the drawers to ease shut.
For planning its place, the standard width is 140 cm (55 in) and the height is 75 cm (30 in). We make each desk to order, so you can request custom dimensions for your room. A different finish or gloss level is possible too, allowing you to adjust the appearance alongside the proportions.
The detached legs are numbered so you can match them to their positions. An assembly kit comes with the desk, and fitting the legs should take no more than 10 minutes before you start arranging your work.
