HEIM 140 - Computer desk with drawers - Solid walnut
Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is a computer desk with drawers and a 140 cm (55 in) solid walnut work surface.
- It measures 140 × 60 × 75 cm (55 × 24 × 30 in).
- The body that holds the drawers is 12 cm (5 in) high.
- There is 63 cm (25 in) of free space under the desk for your chair and legs.
- Cut-out flap handles also provide cable passages.
HEIM 140 has a solid American walnut work surface. This computer desk with drawers gives your home office a mid-century form defined by outward-splaying walnut legs.
Solid wood makes repair possible: a damaged top can be restored by sanding it and applying a new finish.
Three drawers place work supplies beneath the top, with cut-out grips in their solid walnut fronts. Inside, the birch plywood drawer bodies travel on traditional solid oak slides.
Three flaps provide access to separate internal compartments for routing your computer connections. The cut-out handle in each flap also serves as a cable opening, so cords can pass through even when the flap is closed. Inside the desk, passages through the compartment walls connect these sections. The bottom rail has cable exits at the left, right and center for routing cords out.
Matte hard wax oil gives the wood a natural finish, and the walnut develops a warmer tone with age. We make your desk to order with fronts in natural wood or white or black matte water-based lacquer. Alternative dimensions, an open niche, soft-close drawers and finish or gloss choices are offered on request. Assembly involves fitting the detached, numbered legs with the supplied kit.
Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 8-12 weeks to complete.
