YRKE is a solid American walnut table designed for smaller spaces. The square format makes it easy to place in a compact kitchen or dining area. It takes up little room and helps organize the space around the table.
We make the tabletop from solid walnut, carefully selected for stability and a distinctive grain. The surface is finished with a hardwax oil that protects the wood against stains and scratches. The visible grain and deep walnut tone are the main design feature, so the form stays simple and minimalist. We chose a 1.9 cm top thickness to keep the silhouette slim. This gives the table an elegant, light look, provides more legroom, and makes it easier to match different chairs.
Gently rounded corners and subtly profiled edges make the table look lighter, despite the solid material. The construction is stable and does not wobble in everyday use.
YRKE fits Scandinavian, Japandi and Mid-century Modern interiors, anywhere natural wood and clean proportions matter. Its compact size makes it easy to place even in small rooms, and 2 - 4 people can sit comfortably at the table.
Each table is made from carefully selected American walnut. We focus on precise joinery and structural stability so it lasts for years. The hardwax oil protects the surface and makes maintenance easy. If needed, you can refresh the top yourself without specialist tools.
