HEIM 140 - Writing desk with drawers - Walnut wood
Product description
Key facts
- HEIM 140 is a writing desk with drawers and walnut veneer across its 140 cm (55 in) top.
- It measures 140 × 50 × 75 cm (55 × 20 × 30 in).
- The body that holds the drawers is 12 cm (5 in) high.
- There is 63 cm (25 in) of free space under the desk for your chair and legs.
- An open niche can replace one drawer on request.
HEIM 140 in American walnut keeps three drawers just beneath a narrow work surface. This writing desk with drawers is 50 cm (20 in) deep, limiting how far it projects into your home office.
Natural American walnut veneer covers a hardwood lumber core in the top and body, with solid walnut sides completing the construction. The legs, also solid walnut, splay in two planes; these angles give the desk its mid-century form.
Solid walnut drawer fronts have cut-out grips for opening. Inside, birch plywood bodies run on traditional solid oak slides, keeping your work supplies separate. An open niche can replace one drawer if you prefer a mix of open and enclosed storage.
The wood receives natural matte hard wax oil, and the walnut becomes warmer in tone with time. At home, you can renew the oiled surface without using special tools. We make HEIM 140 to order, with a choice of natural wood fronts or fronts finished in black or white matte water-based lacquer. Custom measurements, soft-close drawers and changes to the finish or gloss level are offered on request. For setup at home, the detached, numbered legs and an assembly kit are packed with the desk body.
Each HEIM 140 is built to order from scratch in our workshop in Poland, taking 8-12 weeks to complete. Selected models are also available off the shelf - check the Ready to Ship section for current stock. We pack the finished piece in secure, reinforced packaging and ship it free of charge to Norway with trusted carriers like DHL, Bring, and Schenker - every shipment is fully insured. Mo Woodwork furniture regularly arrives in Norwegian homes, which is why the whole delivery process runs smoothly. The price shown is final; we cover VAT (MVA), customs duty, and import formalities. We offer full personalization - from precise fitting of dimensions and proportions to your space, to your choice of wood stain that fits perfectly into your interior and brightens even the long winter evenings.
